Medical Aid to Poor Patient

We provide financial assistance to poor patients who are unable to afford their healthcare expenses. Since 2009, the HWF has organized 523 free medical camps and has been able to provide clinical services and free medication to patients suffering from various ailments resulting from poor access to healthcare, unhealthy life style, lack of awareness on health and hygiene and non-availability of proper water and sanitation.In 2021, HWF provided assistance to 96 poor patients.

Sensor-Based Artificial Arms for Akram Khan

Akram Khan, a resident of Mustafabad, New Delhi, worked as a tailor.  The 2020 Delhi violence gutted down his shop. Akram was severely injured losing both his hands and went into a deep depression as he lost both hands as well as his source of livelihood.

Vison 2026 came to know Akram’sheart-breaking story and extended its assistance providing him with sensor-based artificial arms worth Rs. 11 lakhs. The advantages of these arms are multifarious as he may be able to do any work and even write as well as use a desktop computer. The fixing of arms has made life easy for him. He is now able to do the work he was doing earlier. The sensor-based artificial arms work as normal hands perfectly coordinated by signals from the brain.

 

Hearing Impaired Children Get Cochlear Implant

HWF provided Cochlear Implant (an electronic device that partially restores hearing) to two hearing-impaired children, Ayush (7) and Piyush (5).Mr. Vishwendra (DM, South-East Dist., Delhi) handed over the cheque to the beneficiaries in the presence of Mr. P.R. Tripathi (ADM).
